Recipient: ACM-Sigmod "Edward T. Codd Innovation Award", New York, June 26, 2013. During my ACM-Sigmod talk, I have explained the "Seven Golden Rules for being Successful in Research". They are: (1) Invest in education, (2) Choose the right co-workers, (3) Take context into account when choosing your research agenda, (4) Write!, (5) Diversify your research, (6) Learn from other disciplines, (7) Don't always work. Recipient of two Advanced ERC grants (2.5M Euro/5 years): Search Computing (SeCo), Nov. 2008 - Oct. 2013; data-driven Genomic Computing (GeCo), Sept. 2016 - Aug. 2021. Other recent projects: Crowdsearcher (Jan. 2012 - Oct. 2014), GenData 2020 (National Coordination, Prin, March 2013 - Feb. 2016). Director of Alta Scuola Politecnica, 2010 - 2013.
